I didn’t have to search all over the world to find a Carmen Sandiego costume; she was hiding in my backyard all along!
The lady in red and I actually have a lot in common. We both rock a bold lip, are elusive about our locations, and really hit our peak in the ’90s. All it took was finding her iconic trench coat in a thrift store free bin to inspire my costume this year.
My memories of her date back to when I would play Where In The World is Carmen Sandiego on an old Windows 95 computer. And I can’t forget watching the PBS show of the same name! The word gumshoe was always so funny to me. Ok, it’s still funny, not much has changed! 😉

You’re amazing! This is perfect.
THIS IS AMAZING!! Im so surprised you actually found a red trench haha how lucky is that? And I used to watch and play along to the tv game show, where the kids had to guess where she was. The ANXIETY I felt over that, haha.
