Styled in Sequins | Outfit Collab w/ Mademoiselle Ruta

HOLD THE PHONE! These are sweatpants made of sequins which is proof that magic exists!

Together with my best friend Ruta, we thought it’d be fun to style each other for an imaginary holiday party where sequins were required attire. I think every party should insist on sequins but I’ll take what I can, imaginary or not.

Ruta has a style that is adventurous as mine so I love the outfits she comes up! Remember when she styled me in sequins last year? Or posing with an umbrella? Yeah, girl knows her stuff!

Ruta really outdid herself this time though. I asked her style up these fabulous sequin sweatpants that I bought on an online consignment store and she totally ran with the idea.

Rules are meant to be broken and this outfit is breaking all of them. I’ve wanted to put these two items together in my closet for a long time but I thought it’d be too much. Without knowing that, Ruta just made this outfit and totally validated my tacky taste.

Clearly there’s a good reason we’re best friends.

I predict future outfits with these sequin pants will be really lackluster. Maybe a basic tee or something? All I know is nothing will ever live up to this outfit – it set the bar high.
