Spring Outfits I Wore To Work
Welcome to another edition of what I wore to work! (Did you catch my last what I wore to work post?)
So what do I do that requires me to dress up? I’m a social media manager for a local Maurices. I get to work around clothes all day long!
Here are some of my favorite spring outfits that I’ve wearing and trying-on at Maurices. Want to see them in real time? Give our Instagram or Facebook page a follow!
Clothes I Wore From Home To Work
My workday starts at home, crafting a clever marketing plan for our pages. Once I’ve got a clear idea of what the week will look like, I style up an outfit and go to work to make the vision come to life. I’m only at the store one day a week. (You can see exactly what my work day looks like in this Instagram Reel.)
My go-to outfit is usually leggings and a tunic (if I’m planning a bunch of try-ons) or just jeans and a t-shirt if I’ll be taking photos of the store or doing flatlays.
Easter Dress Outfits
We did a big push for Easter content in mid-March through April. I had a lot of fun styling dresses and showing our customers all the beautiful options we have for Spring occasions like wedding showers, church, or family photos.
The outfit with the bunny ears is what I wore for a rare Saturday floor shift. All the pieces were actually thrifted except my new pink Maurices ballet flats. They were super comfy and got me through my entire 4-hour shift with NO blisters!
Styling Weekender Pants 4 Ways
As an outfit repeater, I’m a big advocate of wearing your clothes in multiple ways to get the most wear out of them. You pay enough for them, you might as well enjoy them, right?!
These weekender pants have been flying off the shelf in our store so I didn’t have to do much to convince people that they were versatile (and comfy!). But I still tried!
3 Ways To Style Lilac Clothing
One of the big colors for Spring at Maurices is lilac. It can be seen in many pieces from camis, to tees, and even dresses.
I styled a few different lilac pieces and had fun playing with color pairings. Which color combo do you like best?
Wearing Clothes For Work & Play
These outfits don’t have much in common except for the brown block heels. I guess it shows how you can work them during the day for work and then change up your whole look and wear them for night?
Denim + Stripes Forever
I tend to gravitate toward similar pieces over and over again. In these outfits, I was really feeling denim bottoms with a striped top. It was totally unintentional!
Pairing Pink + Denim Together
I love any time we have pink clothes in the store! We have been fortunate to get clothes in shades of pink this Spring.
I bought this online-exclusive smiley face sweatshirt a couple of months ago and have worn it during a couple of floor shifts (and in real life) already! Isn’t it SO me?! It even matches my phone case! Size note: I’m normally a small and went up to a large for a comfier, oversized fit.
And the outfit on the right is my way of pairing different pinks and neutrals together from the store. It’s more subtle than my real life style but I still liked it!
In Clothes-ing
That’s all the outfits I have to share right now! Do you need a style number for a Maurices piece or more information about something I’m wearing? Let me know in the comments!
Also, be sure to Pin your favorite outfit to recreate later!
