A Head-to-Toe Thrifted Outfit

So, a girl walks into a thrift store with $20 in her pocket…

.. you’re waiting for the punchline, right? This outfit is no joke! It was actually way under $20 and sourced in magical ways but, all in all, it really is a head-to-toe thrifted outfit (save for the colorful tights!).

Let me tell you about it!

Starting on my head is a DIY headband I glued together in seconds using an old headband and thrifted pom-poms.

On my toes are the world’s comfiest brown platforms shoes from the thrift store.

And in between is a newly acquired turtleneck paired with a denim jumper that my friend Katie of Thrift Your Heart Out gifted me in a thrift exchange.

While it’s totally possible to thrift tights (and I have done it), I really had a monochromatic look in mind and these We Love Colors tights fit the bill.

I’m probably the only person wishing that spring holds off just a little longer, if only so I can wear this turtleneck and some other winter clothes I haven’t got around to rockin’. Cold/snowy weather is my favorite and I’m just not ready to put away my bulky sweaters!
