Most days I let my hair dictate what style to wear and this curly fauxhawk needed something fierce. I was ridiculously giddy when I pulled these pieces out of my closet and saw how awesome they looked together.
The last time that happened was when I dressed like a mermaid last fall. This time I felt like a giant rainbow! It was definitely a fun outfit to wear for an afternoon of thrifting. (Check out my latest haul video to see what treasures I found.)
My only regret with this outfit is that I didn’t think of it sooner. But better late than never, right?
Yellow blouse – .25 cents (thrifted)
Skirt – .89 cents (thrifted)
Necklace – .25 cents (garage sale)
Purse – $1 (thrifted)
Sunglasses – $4 (Five Below, old)
Leopard print sandals – $15 (Target.com, old)
Lip color – BLS17 “Pops” by NYX
Like, what kind of magical thrift stores do you have that you get stuff for twenty five cents??? The cheapest I can get something is on bag sale day when as much as they can stuff in a bag is $3, so it usually ends up being maybe 50 cents each.
Anyway. #jealousy.
That skirt reminds me of my parents’ bedding, in the best way! Haha! And you DO look fierce! I love a good yellow! And a good fauxhawk!
Oh how lovely! I love these colors together – I have recently fallen in love with mustard yellow. It goes with just about everything!! =)
