We are gathered here today to get through this thing called my transformation into Prince.
The Purple One
I knew I wanted to go crazy for my final Halloween costume of 2017 and who better to transform into than Prince?
As much as I am anti-last minute costume thrifting, I did manage to find this entire outfit within the last two weeks – with just a couple days to modify it so it’d be fit for a rock star.
I wore it for a costume contest and, just like last time, I totally lost! Not many knew who my costume even was and assumed it was an effeminate pirate. The dress & ruffled blouse are thrifted. The leggings are my favorite from Forever 21. And the booties are from an outlet store.
