I pink I did it again!
It’s just a funny coincidence that this look uses the same components from last week (‘s only) outfit post. But at least you get another idea of how to style jeans + a trench coat!
The inspiration for this outfit was also far different than the other. Let’s talk about it!
Inspired By.. stickers?
One of the other posts I put up last week was a charm bracelet tutorial that I’m really excited about. So, as you might have guessed, this outfit was inspired by my bracelet!
Charming Style!
Each of the stylish stickers on my bracelet were carefully chosen. I picked ones that I felt represented me the most and included hair colors I’ve rocked in the past. I’m stickin’ with my natural hair color while I grow it out for donating so it’s fun to live variously through this little bracelet in the meantime.
Pretty in Pink
I really wanted to incorporate pink into my look as I mentioned before that it’s an unexpected color to wear this fall so I styled it in a way that is very down to earth. We’ve all probably worn double denim before but I switched things up this time – instead of wearing a button down chambray shirt (hello, Canadian tuxedo!), I went with this flouncy “summer-y” top I just bought on clearance at Walmart for $3. (similar one for $10!)
None of this outfit is what you’d expect from fall fashion but somehow it just works!
Ironically our fall weather is just about done and we’re already getting true winter temps. That means you can expect some fabulous winter outerwear posts coming soon! Maybe this will be the year I finally learn from the past and start taking my outfit photos indoors? … NAH!
