Working at Maurices has really trained my styling eye. We have an unofficial motto that says you should only wear an outfit you’d be proud to share on social media so I’m taking that to heart by sharing my outfits that I’ve worn for my shifts this week!
While I’m not always able to document every single look, I’m going to try to share as many as I can. Hopefully this will inspire you if you’re in search of work outfits for a creative environment!
Exact & similar pieces to purchase will always be linked below the outfits!
Maroon Moment
Maroon is usually thought of as a “fall” color but why not transition it into spring with some lighter colors and a floral topper? A good closet is one with carefully chosen pieces that can be worn over and over again with a few tweaks and a lot of imagination! (Kind of like what I talked about in my last post!)
What would you wear with maroon this season?
👗 WHAT I’M WEARING 💄
Maurices jeggings | Old Maurices shirt (buy similar shirt) | Thrifted kimono (buy similar kimono) | Walmart flats, $6 (buy similar shoes)
The Little Black Dress
Something you should always have in your closet is an LBD. It’s great for grabbing on-the-go and always plays well with other pieces like a chambray button-up, which is another closet staple. You just can’t beat a classic!
👗 WHAT I’M WEARING 💄
Thrifted dress and shirt, $5 total (buy similar dress, buy similar shirt) | Walmart flats, $6 (buy similar shoes) | Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in Pioneer (buy exact lipstick)
