Here’s how to dress as cool as the weather!
If you’re lucky to live in a place where the weather finally feels like fall, then you’re likely scrambling to put together outfits that will keep you warm. There’s just something about the changing temps that has me reaching for edgier pieces to “protect” myself from the elements!
Instead of throwing on your usual sweater, why not try adding one of the pieces from this post to toughen up your everyday look?
Leather Jacket
Show the weather you’re the boss by fighting the temps in a radical leather jacket. H&M has a stellar selection but it’s also a good time to find them at thrift stores since coats & jackets are getting put out now.
Cutout Booties
Booties are my go-to shoe choice in the winter but it’s fun to take advantage of the slightly warmer fall days by wearing booties with cute cutouts. I’ve seen a lot of cute pairs at Target with a price that won’t break your bank!
Printed Pants
I still consider myself the jean queen but it’s fun to switch things up every once in awhile with printed pants. My red leopard print ones were a lucky find on thredUP! Maybe you can find a similar pair on there?
Wool Hat
You’re probably sick of seeing me in this ASOS pork pie hat but, the way I see it, why fix what ain’t broken? I think everybody should find “their hat” and stick with it for life.
While you don’t have to wear all of the pieces at once (like I am here) they’re all worth investing in and can be remixed with other items from your closet. Examples of that are this leather jacket worn with a feminine skater skirt, or these cutout booties paired with a sequin blazer.
Have fun in your closet and don’t let the weather steal your style!
