  • Fit Check: Everything I’ve Been Wearing To Work

What I Wore To Work Recently

    Long time, no fit check-in!

As a social media manager at maurices, I get first dibs on seeing new arrivals and playing dress-up with them in-store.

Here’s a look at what I styled in-store from the past few months.

Ready for some outfit inspo? Let’s dive in!

(Please note: any sale signs featured in the photos are from the past and do not reflect current sales or prices at maurices. Follow our page @mauricesmonroewi for the latest deals at our location!)

What I Wore: Lovely In Red

Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but it was fun to be surrounded by so much bright red and garments dotted with hearts. I had fun trying on some new-to-me silhouettes and showing off the details that made these pieces special.

    What I Wore: Christmas Clearance

If Valentine’s Day feels far away, these looks are from clearance during Christmas! On our social media feed, I’ve been trying to showcase more of the versatility of our pieces. I especially love showing off how much bang for your buck you can get out of a clearance item.

You don’t have to go broke to dress fashionably!

What I Wore: Pastels and Purses

Spring always ushers in lots of colors and is one of my most beloved style seasons at maurices. You can tell I’m having fun sporting pink and stripes—two of my all-time favorites!

Plus, we’ve been getting in a decent selection of purses, tote bags, and belt bags. They’ve been lacking in recent years but I think corporate heard our cries and they’re making a comeback. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

What I Wore: Forever In Blue Jeans

Jeans will always be a staple at maurices. We’re going through some major updates on that front too: expanded cuts for plus sizes, new inseams coming, and more trendy styles than ever before!

    In Clothesing

Which look caught your eye? I’d love to hear your favorite in the comments!

I hope these outfits spark some inspiration for your own wardrobe or give you the confidence to try out a new trend. If you need a style number or more details before your next shopping trip, don’t hesitate to ask—I’ve got you covered!

And if any of these looks stood out to you, don’t forget to save them to your outfit inspiration board on Pinterest. Your support means the world—thank you for reading!

  • Restyling My Favorite ’80s and ’90s Clothes For Today

Wearing Vintage Clothes in Modern Times

One of my most popular blog posts is titled “Clothing Labels I LOVE From The 1980s & 1990s,” so of course, it only makes sense to follow up with how I style those clothes into outfits for the modern day.

Combining modern and vintage styles is not a new concept for me, but I love an excuse to play dress-up in my closet and share some fresh outfit inspiration with you.

In this post, I will be showing off a giant roundup of newly styled outfits featuring some of my favorite clothes from the 1980s and 1990s that I thrifted and have worn and loved in my closet for years. If you feel like digging through my archives, you’ll come across other ways I’ve worn these pieces, too.

    Let’s dig in!

Restyling a Contempo Casuals Graphic Button-Up

Hands down, one of my most worn vintage pieces is this Contempo Casual button-up that features mixed prints.

For this new iteration, I styled it with thrifted wide-leg pleather pants, a vintage purple cardigan, and my favorite pork pie hat.

Grounding vintage with neutral pieces (i.e., black) is an easy way to approach styling loud pieces that you may be unsure about.

hannah is a white female with short brown curly hair. she is smiling wearing a black pork pie hat, patterned blouse, purple cardigan, black wide leg pleather pants, and black kitten heels

    Restyling a Floral Blazer

Long-time blog readers will instantly recognize this floral blazer as my “Pretty in Pink” blazer. I call it that because it feels reminiscent of something Andie wears in the movie Pretty in Pink.

I matched the pretty color palette with a modern (thrifted) checkered maxi dress to give it a funky vibe. I think Andie would approve!

hannah is a white female with short brown curly hair. she is smiling wearing a long pink checkered dress and a floral blazer.

    Restyling a Vintage Cat Vest

If you’re new here, hi! I love cats. I once shared this vintage cat vest on my Instagram and was surprised to see it circulating really hard on Pinterest in the last few years. I thought it was fellow cat people appreciating it, but it turns out Freddy Mercury owned one with a similar pattern and people thought I had his. Who knew!? (Clearly not me! And it’s not his!)

I normally wear this vest over a basic black dress, but I took a little styling nod from Gucci and mixed it with a garish green and orange combo. It’s kind of weird, and I love it.

hannah is a white female with short brown curly hair. she is smiling wearing a green turtleneck, cat vest, orange wide leg pants, and heavy gold jewelry.

    Restyling a Vintage Striped Skort

This red sweater vest was heavily featured in a Valentine’s Day outfit post, but this outfit is actually focused on the skort. Yes, skort! I found it last year at a garage sale and was already smitten with the red and white striped pattern. It’s just an added bonus that it’s a skort!

I paired it with a splashy 1980s short-sleeve button-up and a Y2K sweater vest. This outfit is the ultimate lesson in mixing decades!

hannah is a white female with short brown curly hair. she is smiling wearing a white short sleeve button up, red sweater vest, red and white striped skort, navy blue tights, red kitten heels, and a red beret.

    Restyling a Sequined Parrot Shirt

One of the newest additions to my closet is this long white top with colorful sequined parrots. I love all things parrots, thanks to Claudia Kishi of the Baby-sitters Club, so thrifting this shirt was a no-brainer. Funny enough, it’s by the brand “Emo.” I’d argue there’s nothing sad about this shirt!

I styled it up with lots of colors to really make it shine. Should I tone it down, or do you like the bright look?

hannah is a white female with short brown curly hair. she is smiling wearing a white t-shirt with sequined parrots on it, a teal sequin skirt, a yellow beret, a yellow purse, and teal flat shoes.

    Restyling a Vintage Sweatshirt

I thrifted this 1990 “Fashion University” sweatshirt many years ago, and somewhere along the way, I decided to chop off the banded bottom. I low-key regret that decision because I started wearing it less as I grew away from cropped shirts. (Even the ones done tastefully!)

So when I had the idea for this post, I knew I had to include this shirt because I need to motivate myself to wear it again in fun ways. Pairing it with lots of pink is fun, right?!

    Yesterday’s Clothes Are Tomorrows Vintage

Thank you for joining me for this fashion time hop! I hope this inspires you to go thrifting, try out some wacky new vintage pieces, or dig through your clothes to wear an old favorite you forgot about.

If you loved these outfits, please be sure to Pin them to try out later!

  • Styled by Strangers: I Let the Internet Create Looks From My Digital Closet

One Year On The Whering App

Wow, it’s hard to believe it’s been one year since I digitized my wardrobe in the Whering app!

I did it partly out of curiosity, but also in anticipation of a bunion surgery I had last February. I wanted a way to feel connected to my closet, even if I wasn’t dressing up.

I can say for certain that it has paid off. I love using the app, seeing my closet, and creating new outfits. Best of all, I love the social aspect. So many of you have created looks for me using pieces from my digital closet.

I recently had a chance to scroll through and try out some of the looks in real life. If yours didn’t make it into this post, no worries. There was A LOT, so please don’t take it personally if I didn’t get to yours. I will try to get to it next time!

But without further ado, let’s check out some fits styled by strangers on the internet!

    Styled by Strangers

The creativity this time around was off the charts! (See styling of previous Whering outfits on my blog, as well as a full review of the Whering app.)

There were a lot of looks to sift through, but I did my best to pick a variety, as well as outfits that were seasonally appropriate. Coats and sweaters were high priority!

Styling My Thrifted Fuzzy White Jacket

I thought it was funny (and also fun!) how many outfits were styled around this thrifted fuzzy white jacket. I don’t wear it often in real life—in fact, I can’t remember the last time I really did wear it!—so I appreciate all of these ideas for how to wear it with things in my closet.

    Other Outfits Styled By You

I think it’s awesome how everyone sees something different with the same pieces in my closet. Your unique vision really came through!

Here are just a few more looks that were styled by strangers. Though considering you were digging in my closet, we may need to become best friends!

    What Are You Whering?

Now that you’ve had a look inside my closet and some of the fun dress-up times I’ve had with it, I’d love to see your closets! If you’re also on Whering, let’s style one another!

What do you think of these outfits? Would you have styled something different? Sound off in the comments!

  • Your Guide to the Monroe Theater Guild Annual Gala & 5 Vintage-Inspired Outfit Ideas

    [su_note note_color=”#FFFFFF” text_color=”#000000″ radius=”9″ class=””]

This post is in collaboration with Monroe Theater Guild. No compensation was provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    [/su_note]

hannah is a white female with short brown curly hair. she's smiling and wearing a blue high collar dress and holding a beaded purse, oversize red ticket, and a flyer for an event. You’re Invited: A Night on Broadway (In Wisconsin)

Who doesn’t dream of getting dressed up for a night out at a Broadway show or taking part in a gala or award ceremony?!

Well, here’s your chance to support the local arts AND wear your fanciest frocks!

Being from the Midwest, those opportunities are few and far between, so I’m excited to share one coming up that I think many of you will be interested in!

The Monroe Theater Guild will be hosting a special Open House and gala with the theme “A Night on Broadway.” All are invited to attend and, of course, encouraged to dress up.

I’m currently costuming my second play with MTG, so I dug through the costume closet to pull out five outfit ideas you might want to recreate for the big event.

Keep reading to learn more and get inspired!

What Is The Monroe Theater Guild?

Before I share the gala outfits, I want to back up and tell you a little more about the Monroe Theater Guild.

The Monroe Theater Guild is a theater company local to Monroe, Wisconsin, that was started in 1970. It regularly delivers seasonal shows to the region, including musicals, dramas, comedies, and everything in between. There are also classes, special events (like the gala!), and the space is available to rent for your own private gatherings.

I have personally been involved sporadically since I was younger, acting in shows here and there, then took a long break and am back using my talents in the costume department!

The Monroe Theater Guild is a huge asset to Monroe and the surrounding areas. It’s a creative outlet, a platform for important issues, a thriving space for the arts, and a great place to meet the most interesting people!

5 Vintage Inspired Gala Outfit Ideas

The costume closet at the Monroe Theater Guild is filled to the brim with decades of the most amazing vintage clothes. As a fashion lover, I’m like a kid in a candy store when I walk through those doors.

I channeled all that excitement into pulling looks that felt like they could be worn to an award show, especially the Tonys. There are a lot of fabulous archival photos to be found online, and I found myself drawn to many looks worn by entertainers in the 1970s and 1980s.

Funny enough, Carol Channing came up over and over again while I was building my mood board. Her sparkles and sass left me inspired!

Hopefully, these looks get your creative gears turning, and you can pull out something similar from your closet or visit a thrift store to buy something totally unique!

Learn More & Get The Hottest Ticket In Town

Now all that’s left to do is RSVP on the Monroe Theater Guild website and get your outfit together!

You won’t want to miss this behind-the-scenes experience, including a silent auction, games, and prizes. It will be a great free community building event!

Let them know you’re coming, and I hope to see you there!

  • Answering Your Most Frequently Asked Questions About Thrifting: Part One

What Do You Want To Know About Thrifting?

This post (or rather, series) has been a long time in the making.

I love answering reader questions about thrifting and personal style and have covered quite a few over the years, but I want to come up with a more cohesive system to keep all your questions organized and handy for you to access!

So with that, I’m going to start tackling a list I’ve had growing for the past 5+ years.

As we go along, if you want to see a question get answered, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM on my social media!

Without further ado, let’s dive into some thrifting basics.

Q: Do you have a specific way of organizing or keeping track of your clothes and accessories?

A: Until recently, no. This started becoming a problem because I have brain fog, and it lead to buying doubles or very similar pieces.

Then last year, I started seriously trying out digital closet apps and fell in love with Whering. I now reference that app on a near-daily basis.

To use it, I either snapped photos of my closet or found items online and added them to a digital wardrobe.

I’ve discussed the Whering app in depth on my blog and would encourage you to check that out if you want to learn more about how it works.

But the bottom line is, I can quickly pull it up at a thrift store and see if I have something similar in my closet already. It’s a game-changer!

Q: Do you have a thrift wish list of items that you’re actively looking to acquire?

    A: Yes, I do!

My thrifting wishlist is mainly housed on Pinterest, but I also carry around scraps of paper (if I can’t find a reference photo) and have a running list in my Keep/Notes app on my phone.

It may not be the most sophisticated system, but it works, and I manage to find what I’m looking for!

Q: What are some guidelines to buying things you’ll actually want/wear/use?

A: This is tough because I’ve surprised myself by buying things from my wishlist that didn’t work well for me in real life. Likewise, I’ve impulse-bought things that have become staples in my life.

The best advice I can give is to picture how the item would work in your life. If it’s clothes, can you wear it with at least three items in your closet? If it’s a knick-knack, do you have space on a shelf for it? If it’s a tool or gadget, can you imagine using it at least three times?

If you’re ever not sure one way or another, consider the price. If it’s low enough, under $5 or so, I’d say it’s okay to take a chance on it. You can always donate it back, give it to a friend, or try to resell it at a later time if it’s not for you.

Q: Do you have a budget for what you can spend thrifting?

A: Not officially. But I think, like a lot of people, I have a perceived value of what I want to spend on items. If something is over that made-up price, then I pass on it.

I’ve been thrifting my entire life and have learned that letting something go that’s too expensive usually comes back to me years later in my price range. It might take years, but it will happen! (The only exception: rare vintage. I’m still kicking myself for putting back a few things!)

If you want to learn more about my thrifting budget, I have an entire post on my spending habits!

Q: How do you shop for things that are difficult to find in a thrift store?

A: Piggybacking off of what I just said about putting back rare vintage, I turn to my network or the internet!

There have been a few instances where friends or family members had what I was looking for stored away in their basements.

And when all else fails, there is always the internet. There’s the tried-and-true eBay or Etsy, but I also like the explosion of apps that act like a thrift engine for online thrift stores. This includes apps like Beni, Gem, and Cirkular.

    What We’ve Learned About Thrifting

Thank you for reading through this first round of questions about thrift stores! I could probably yap about thrifting all day.

If you enjoyed this post, please share it with a friend! That helps my little colorful corner of the internet grow so much!

See you in my next post!

  • December Fits: Everything I Wore This Month

    [su_note note_color=”#FFFFFF” text_color=”#000000″ radius=”9″ class=””]

    What I Wore In December

What have I been wearing lately?

In addition to trying on outfits at maurices, as seen in my last post, I’ve also been getting dressed for lots of life moments that happened in December.

I haven’t had the physical capacity or time to capture any photos with my signature pink background so hopefully these quick mirror selfies will suffice!

Hopefully next month marks the return of my usual photoshoots, as well as a top secret project I’m working on that involves lots of glamorous vintage fashion. (Stay tuned for that!)

In the meantime, here is what I wore in December for errands, holiday parties, work shifts, and more!

    Technicolor Dream Fits

These two outfits were both styled based on wanting to be comfortable and colorful. The purple tunic dress is identical to one I wore in high school (and loved!) and was able to thrift back into my life last summer. As a teen, I wore it with leggings so it seemed fitting to do that again as an adult!

The other outfits features my favorite rainbow striped tee which I wear frequently, and just switch out the topper and accessories. I love that it goes with everything in my closet. It’s definitely a good grab-and-go piece that helps me feel like “me” without much effort.

    Classic Christmas Fits

It wouldn’t be December without some festive Christmas outfits. Here is a line-up of looks worn for a couple work shifts, and a family Christmas gathering.

My thrifted cat Christmas sweater has been a traditional wear in my wardrobe since 2019. As long as it fits, I will keep on wearing it!

The other outfits feature newer buys – like my Studio Y gold sequin t-shirt (which has been on my thrift wishlist for years!) that I bought at maurices this month. After using my employee discount, applying sales, and using a gift card, the total came down to $1! Even working in mainstream retail, I find a way to be thrifty and stretch my dollars.

    Colorful Christmas Fits

Having chronic fatigue, it often feels like I spend most of my time laying in bed wearing mismatched pajamas. Inside me is still my old self who loves being creative and dressing-up, she’s just stuck in a body that prefers taking naps.

I’m so grateful to the Whering app that has allowed me to digitize my wardrobe and take back a little piece of my creativity. When I’m low energy, I can swipe and create outfits on the app, that I can then wear when I need to leave the house. This app has been immensely helpful with decision fatigue!

I feel like I’m starting to have fun with my clothes again. These two outfits in particular were planned on the app. I don’t think I would have had the energy to pull them together myself in the moment had it not been for the app!

    In Clothes-ing

Speaking of the Whering app, I have been collecting more outfits that you’ve styled for me and hope to photograph them soon – even if they are just more mirror selfies. I appreciate the thought that goes into every look, and getting to see other peoples style perspective using my own closet.

If you’d like to look through my closet and plan an outfit or two, please check out my Whering closet. Your outfit just might appear in a future blog post or social media post!

  • 12 Best Thrifted Outfits of 2025

    [su_note note_color=”#FFFFFF” text_color=”#000000″ radius=”9″ class=””]

    Best Thrifted Outfits 2025

Wow, can you believe this post marks the end of 10 years as The Outfit Repeater fashion blog?! I’ve been doing these “year-end” round-ups since my start, and I love looking back and reflecting on how my style has changed throughout the year.

2025 was no exception. I started off the year slowly due to bunion surgery and actually went nearly 6 months without adding anything to my closet! That was a first for me.

But by the end of the year, I’m easing back into looking at clothes and picking out pieces that speak to me at the thrift store.

So in no particular order, let’s look back together at how I remixed my closet all year long!

    Making Memories in Style

This year was marked by a lot of big moments, so I needed clothes to match the occasions.

Between the announcement of my niece arriving next February, my mom commemorating the one-year mark of living with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, me costuming my first play, and many more, I had a lot to dress up for. And, in my usual fashion, I tried to wear secondhand as much as possible!

    A Color Story

You can always expect me to add a dash of color to my look, even if it’s just for running errands or catching up with friends at game night.

I hope to continue this trend into next year with even more whimsy!

    Pretty in Pink

Finally, my power color, pink, was on full display this year. It’s still one of my favorite colors to wear when I need a little mental boost. It’s so fun to style; can you blame me?!

    2025 Wrapped

Thank you for spending another stylish year with me! I’d love to hear what your favorite looks were from this post or if you thought another one I shared on my blog deserved to be on this list.

If you enjoyed these outfits, please be sure to support my blog by sharing it with a friend of Pinning your favorite looks!

  • What I Wore To Style My First Play

    No Costumes, No Problem!

This month has come and gone so fast that I never shared a single costume on my blog.

But rest assured, I was busy with costumes… costumes for a play!

I spent this season styling my first production at a community theater.

While I didn’t document my outfits along the way (or really any of the characters!), I did grab a mirror selfie of the looks I wore backstage before each of the six performances.

If you’ve ever wanted to see what a colorful, dopamine dresser wears to “blend in,” you’re about to find out!

Outfits I Wore For Opening Weekend

Normally, the wardrobe people aren’t really needed at the performances, but our play required us to be hands-on to help with two characters’ quick changes.

The unofficial uniform of backstage is wearing head-to-toe black. This is a little outside my norm, but I teased that it was my “Halloween” and tried to add interest to all my dark looks.

I did sneak in some pink—but can you blame me?

Hannah is a white female with short curly brown hair. She is standing in front of a mirror wearing a black blouse, black pants, white sneakers, and a bejeweled vintage necklace. Hannah is a white female with short curly brown hair. She is standing in front of a mirror wearing a multiprinted vintage top with a cropped black vest on top, pink palazzo pants, and white sneakers. Hannah is a white female with short curly brown hair. She is standing in front of a mirror wearing a black and white striped long sleeve shirt under loose black overalls, and white sneakers.

Outfits I Wore For Our Final Weekend

Our final weekend deviated from the plan, for me, anyway. I took one night off to sit in the audience and watch the show with my mom. I stuck with my all-black uniform, just to be consistent. Plus, I had this beautiful beaded sweater I thrifted last year that I wanted to wear with my mom because she loves butterflies.

Then I only ended up dressing for one other show and missed the final performance because I unexpectedly came down with a cold. (Pictures of my PJs are not documented. LOL)

Hannah is a white female with short curly brown hair. She is standing in front of a mirror wearing a black jumpsuit with white swiss dots, and a cropped black cardigan. Hannah is a white female with short curly brown hair. She is standing in front of a mirror wearing a vintage black top with a beaded butterfly pattern, black wide leg leather pants, a camel colored coat, and white platform sandals.

    What’s Next For Me

All in all, I had a great time co-styling my very first production. While I’ve spent most of my life on stage (and your screens!), dressing characters in a play was something I wanted to challenge myself to do. I try not to let my invisible illness hold me back, and luckily this project (mostly) fit in with my energy levels and talents.

Similarly, I have loved working in retail for the past seven years and really finding my calling with styling. So I think my background in acting and styling put me in the best position possible to be able to pull this off.

Plus, I’m happy to announce that I’ve already been asked to style a show on my own next spring! Stay tuned to see how that goes!

  • 8 Summer to Fall Outfits That You’ll Want to Recreate ASAP

    [su_note note_color=”#FFFFFF” text_color=”#000000″ radius=”9″ class=””]

This post contains affiliate links & I may receive a commission if you click or complete a purchase through them.

    [/su_note]

    Summer to Fall Transitional Outfits

It’s that time of year again when our closets send us into seasonal confusion.

It’s cold in the morning, hot at night, and you never know what the air situation is going to be like in any given business.

Yes, it’s time for summer-to-fall transitional outfits!

On top of changing temperatures, there’s also the pull of wanting to wear fall trends before the official first day of fall (which is September 22nd this year!).

How do you add a sweater when it’s 90°F? Is that even a possibility?!

Thankfully, as a stylist and social media manager, I’m at the front line of incoming fashion and have picked up a few tips while playing dress-up in a retail store.

Here’s what fashion at maurices looks like right now and how I’m wearing it for this weird in-between weather!

    Trending for Fall: Plaid Shirts

Is it really fall if you don’t wear a plaid shirt? These are easy to pick up at any thrift store, but if you want endless options and new shacket (shirt + jacket) styles, you’ll want to go to a traditional fashion boutique like maurices for your plaid shirts.

Style a plaid shirt now by wearing it loose over a graphic tee (for when it’s colder out) or tie it around your waist for those hot, humid days.

    Trending For Fall: Puffer Vests

A puffer vest is a staple of any fall and winter wardrobe. While they’re tough to wear in summer, you can still try a lighter option and wear it with sleeveless garments for an avant-garde look.

Or just buy a puffer vest now at a good deal and hang on to it until the temps really drop!

    Trending For Fall: Denim

Denim is always in style, and this season we’re seeing a return of skinny jeans, light washes, barrel legs, and tasteful deconstruction.

You can wear denim any way you please! I like cuffing it in the summer for a faux capri kind of look. But in fall and winter, anything goes!

    Trending For Fall: Warm Tones

The number one way to start wearing fall fashion trends right now? Colors!

I think most of us naturally gravitate towards warmer hues (even if we’re rainbow lovin’ people!) because it mimics the changing leaves outside. Get in on this trend by experimenting with rich browns, burnt orange, deep blues and greens, and more!

    In Clothes-ing

Which look caught your eye? I’d love to hear your favorite in the comments!

I hope these outfits spark some inspiration for your own wardrobe or give you the confidence to try out a new trend. If you need a style number or more details before your next shopping trip, don’t hesitate to ask—I’ve got you covered!

And if any of these looks stood out to you, don’t forget to save them to your outfit inspiration board on Pinterest. Your support means the world—thank you for reading!

  • This Simple Closet Hack Helped Me Create 6 Outfits I Loved This Summer

    [su_note note_color=”#FFFFFF” text_color=”#000000″ radius=”9″ class=””]

    [/su_note]

My Closet Hack For Creating Outfits I Love

Another summer has come and gone, and I made sure to squeeze every last bit of summer fashion out of it (see the yellow outfit below for proof).

While I wasn’t consistent with sharing my outfits on this blog, I was consistent in getting dressed thanks to a little style hack I put together at the start of summer.

Since each season seems to fly by quicker than the next, I purposely combed through my clothes and pulled out pieces that spoke to me—either new thrift finds, old favorites, or ones that have gone unworn for a couple of years now. I added all of those pieces to a special place in my closet and chose to style from them every time I had to get dressed.

It wasn’t a hard and fast rule; I still pulled from the rest of my closet. But I made sure to get through that special rack as much as possible.

I’m happy to say I only have three pieces left, and I plan to roll them in with my fall selections.

So let’s take a look at how this experiment played out with five outfits I wore this summer!

A Summer Outfit With Polka Dot Shorts

Do these polka dot shorts look familiar? They’re my most worn summer item ever! (Yes, I did the math.)

They’re still going strong into another year, so this time I paired them with a yellow crop top I got from my local clothing swap I hosted last year. To round out the outfit, I added yellow accessories and comfy sandals!

A Summer Outfit With A Plaid Dress

Another clothing swap item? This pink plaid dress! It’s delightfully whimsical with its sweetheart neckline and ruffled hem, so I paired it up with equally adorable extras—like a pink denim jacket, a thrifted yellow purse, and matchy-matchy pink hoop earrings.

I envision this being great for a Barbie-themed party or a fun date night outing!

A Summer Outfit With A Hawaiian Print Shirt

I’m never one to shy away from dressing weird so putting together this Hawaiian print shirt and red shorts felt perfectly me!

It’s similar to another bright and summer-y look I wore a few years ago but this is more than the picnic version vs the BBQ version, if that makes any sense! (Hopefully the fashion girlies get it)

    A Monotone Summer Outfit

Who says beige has to be boring? As a rainbow-y outfit repeater, I challenged myself to style a neutral but make it fabulous. I think this ThredUp gold tee, off-white capris, and stellar vintage gold belt are anything but basic!

A Summer Outfit With A Thrifted Red Dress

An airy summer dress and vintage beaded purse like this are just one of the many reasons that I love thrifting!

While these aren’t at the top of my list (um, I’ve literally thrifted a sequin butterfly blouse!), they’re decent contenders because of how good make me feel!

A Summer Outfit With A Thrifted Pink Dress

I saved the best for last-this stunning Barbie pink maxi dress I thrifted last summer! It just screamed to be styled for an adventure and, while I didn’t go outside my hometown this summer, this was a stunner to dress up for a regular day in my life.

I paired it with vintage parrot earrings, a Goodwill straw hat, a green ThredUp tote bag, and my trusty off-white sandals.
