If the season of fall had a human form, this is what it would wear.
Let’s just address the elephant in the room.. my hair looks a little different than it did in my last outfit post. I have dyed it back to the dark side.
I could go on and on about the many reasons I colored it but I think my friend Valery Brennan totally nailed it with this post on her blog.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s talk about this fabulous autumn outfit, shall we?
I channeled all the best vibes of fall for this outfit and I was feeling it!
This all began with the mustard turtleneck and just got better from there. While I have about a million ideas of how to wear it this fall, it’s inaugural styling is with this denim jumper. Those two items together are strong on their own but weren’t enough for me.
Next, I threw on a bunch of colors via this Dr. Who-esque striped scarf and a foxy little orange purse. It really could be an owl for all I know! What do you think it looks like?
I guess it would seem that I tried to make up for my lack of hair color by going overboard with the outfit. Did it work?
Hopefully you’re not sad about the hair change because I’m honestly ecstatic about it. I have full range of my closet again and I don’t have to be super careful about which colors I pair together. The sky is the limit!
Are you as exicted as I am to play with fall fashion? What trends are you going to try? Let’s chat in the comments!

The scarf really brings the whole outfit together. <3 That bag is too cute and I love the frayed hem on the pinafore!
