    Courting Your Closet

I believe a lot of thought should go into your look so be sure to browse your closet carefully and keep in mind where you’re going and what activities will be involved. This should help you narrow down your outfit choices!

    It’s A Match!

My outfit was inspired by a sit down dinner at a restaurant (fast food doesn’t count!) because it’s the classic first date situation.

I knew I needed to be comfortable, hence a t-shirt dress and flats, but I wanted to feel dressed up and make a good first impression so I wore this kimono to complete the outfit.

If it’s cold where you live (like it is for me) you might want to modify this look with a pair of tights. Or scrap this outfit altogether and go with my old standby of dark wash jeans and a nice blouse. Either option would still be totally appropriate!

    App-ily Ever After

As for my own Valentine’s Day plans, I’m going to cozy up in this outfit with my true love – pizza 🍕 – and pop in an 1980s romcom!

Power Dressing For A Lipstick Jungle

hannah rupp the outfit repeater striped dress red lipstick power women feminist pixie haircutIt’s funny to think that just a few short years ago my lips had never worn lipstick. Yet here I am today rockin’ a bold red mouth with a mini matching purse!

If you’re wondering why you don’t see this fabulous hair more often, that’s because these pictures were snapped shortly after cutting my hair in May and I swear I cannot get it to look this good again. Because of that, I’ve basically written off this pixie cut and am letting it grow back out. Like Brooke Shields with her Calvin’s; nothing gets in between me and my curls.

(I was so tempted to write ‘this hair just ain’t cutting it!’ but I didn’t want to sound too punny!)

An Outfit To Chase Away The Winter Blues

hannah rupp the outfit repeater blue winter outfit thrifted pattern mixingThis outfit is far from the Coachella looks that are probably filling up your blog reader today. It actually looks pretty far off from the beautiful spring-like weather we’re having, too!

I’ve found that I love what I’m wearing more when when I’m in a creative state of mind rather than a rushed one. A couple weeks ago, when snow was still sticking around, I was playing around in my closet and came up with whatever this look is.

The top and skirt were actually thrifted at the same time and I had a feeling I would mix them together in the future. How right was I?

    The Sweetest Valentine’s Day Outfit

hannah rupp the outfit repeater valentine's day outfit heart sweater thriftedhannah rupp the outfit repeater valentine's day outfit heart sweater thriftedI love it when an outfit and the perfect occasion come together. That’s what my plans were when I thrifted this pink heart print shirt back in December. It’s honestly cute any time of the year (Stacey McGill would agree with me) but I really had my mind set on wearing it for Valentine’s Day.

This was the perfect outfit for consuming heart shaped cookies, playing copious amounts of love themed board games, and marathoning Parks & Rec with my family.

All in all, good weekend, great outfit!
