Orange ya glad I wore this dress?
The colors of this season have been very inspiring so far! It’s safe to say that my fall style can be described as trying-my-hardest-to-match-the-foliage.
That’s because myself, like a lot of fashion bloggers, love thematic dressing. I view fall as the ultimate style challenge. It’s just seriously the best time of the year! Here’s what my no-fail plan to get dressed this fall (or any season) looks like.
I picked a seasonal color to base my outfit around on and orange was a no-brainer. My mind has seriously been stuck on orange lately, as seen in my last outfit post.
Going with that, I thought I’d switch things up and try out a new-to-me color combo – orange and navy. (No sport team affiliations were considered in the making of this outfit)
The main draw of my look is this orange mod style dress. You might recognize it from the last time I wore it for a throwback fashion series I did in March or from the original thrift haul I found it in. It’s an ideal piece for fall with it’s burnt orange color, long sleeves, and heavier material.
It would have been good on it’s own but I wanted to incorporate blue so I put on this floral blouse underneath and was really feeling the retro vibes. So, I went with that and added a beret, a sparkly flower brooch (actually a clip-on earring!) and a navy quilted purse.
If this outfit doesn’t make you want to try thematic dressing then I don’t know what will!
