An Outfit To Chase Away The Winter Blues

An Outfit To Chase Away The Winter Blues

hannah rupp the outfit repeater blue winter outfit thrifted pattern mixingThis outfit is far from the Coachella looks that are probably filling up your blog reader today. It actually looks pretty far off from the beautiful spring-like weather we’re having, too!

I’ve found that I love what I’m wearing more when when I’m in a creative state of mind rather than a rushed one. A couple weeks ago, when snow was still sticking around, I was playing around in my closet and came up with whatever this look is.

The top and skirt were actually thrifted at the same time and I had a feeling I would mix them together in the future. How right was I?

I looooove that skirt. And I agree with you; I always like my style better when I have time to just be creative and not feel rushed to choose something. Of course, when I feel rushed I usually choose jeans and whatever shirt covers my belly, which is not really my style at all. I’ve been vowing lately to be more true to what I feel best in (retro looks), especially now that I’ve got a haircut I can style more to my liking. So we’ll see if that actually happens.

I always love your style – it’s so fun!
Also, I was wondering, at the sidebar it says you’re a ‘stay at home daughter’. What is one of those?! It has always baffled me! Haha!

Such a cute outfit! I love how springy you managed to look even though there was still snow on the ground.

Hope everything is nice and melted for you by now! 😉

This is so cute! I also love the different style shots! They look so cool!

I feel like you fit in so perfectly with the icy background.

So adorable! That shirt is perfection! Polka dots are my jam. And when they are with florals? It can’t get much better than that.

I honestly need more color in my life. It’s driving me crazy that I haven’t added new things to the swap group with more color! Mint is one of my new must haves, along with tan, pink, yellow, and cream. They’re quickly becoming my new favorite colors and I just want to wear them all the time even though i have none of that in my closet. Lol

PS- thank you for mentioning that you somewhat planned this outfit ahead of time. I need to do this.

This will close in 20 seconds
