November Thrift Haul

I’ve been having fun making quick thrift hauls on TikTok but don’t want my blog to miss out on the outfit inspo!

The pieces I styled in this post are from a couple of different thrift stops I made in November. However, I’ve also been stalking items online and shared a thredUP thrift haul on my TikTok.

Styling My Thrift Finds

What I Thrifted

• Baby blue sweater vest (free) – I’ve seen sweater vests trending all season and came across this one at a community closet. It’s the exact shade of blue I’ve been crushing on lately so I thought I’d try my hand at making it work. What do you think? How else should I try styling it?

• Artsy button-up blouse (free) – This blouse was also found at the same community closet but on a different day. I was ‘drawn’ to the abstract print and unique shape… pun intended.

• White longline cardigan duster ($5) – I’ve had a long white cardi on my wishlist for a while and finally found this one! I wish you could all feel it through your screens because it’s made of a super soft blend. Plus it looks cute, right?!

Thrifting Wishlist

I haven’t added to my Pinterest thrifting wishlist in a while but my personal list that I keep on my phone just keeps growing! Here’s what I’m currently on the hunt for…

• White high-waisted denim gauchos – I think this is another purchase that I want to make after seeing so many girls on the gram make them look glam! Plus I’m still trying to get away from skinny jeans so this would be a great departure.

• Green pullover sweater – I have so many outfit ideas using a kelly green sweater. Wish me luck finding one!

• Athletic leggings – I started wearing leg compression garments earlier this year after getting diagnosed with POTS. They’re not always cute so members of a POTS support group that I’m in suggested workout leggings. I’m too cheap to pay full price so hopefully I can thrift some NWT!

Household Items I’ve Thrifted Recently

I wanted to make sure you got a look at the household/miscellaneous items I’ve thrifted so far this year. I just didn’t have it in me to film another video so I photographed everything for you to see!

Let me know if you have any specific questions or inquiries about how much I paid. Nothing in the photos was over $5!

Thrifting Wishlist

My thrifting wishlist is really getting whittled down but then new fashion trends come along that I start lusting over and the cycle begins all over again. Here are some current looks I’m hoping to score secondhand!

• Voluminous denim – Like most people, skinny jeans are feeling pretty boring at this point. I want some shape to my denim that can make my outfit a statement with very little work!

• White blouse – I’ve been keeping a keen eye out for a white blouse with unique details. I’m ready to step up my plain white t-shirt game!

• Bright green high waisted pants – I recently found the red palazzo pants of my dreams, so why not aim for every color of the rainbow? Green is next on my list to thrift!

Welcome to the future of thrift!

My last official thrift haul video was in March and I couldn’t have predicted what would happen next. (Though I did try to forecast an outcome!)

I’m knocking things off my thrifting wishlist LIKE A BOSS! If next month is half as good as this month then I’ll be twice as happy!

• Yellow Midi Skirt – I’m not committed to any particular kind of midi skirt as long as it’s yellow.

• Pink Utility Suit – Is it just me or does it seem like all the cool girls have a pink utility suit? I think I’ll have better luck finding this in the wild than online but we’ll see!

• Colorful Throw Pillow – Are you sensing a colorful theme here? Being in quarantine has me yearning to makeover my bedroom. First up, a colorful throw pillow for my bed!

Good things come to those who thrift and February was a great month for me!

After getting your opinions about my January thrift haul video, I have decided to go back to the regular way that I was presenting my hauls. Moving forward, you’ll see clothes, knick-knacks, and everything in between!

Here’s what’s on my thrifting wishlist right now!

• Bow Neck Top – I see all my friends on Instagram wearing bow neck tops and now I want one! Plus, a colorful one would match perfectly with the 12 Months of Thrifting Challenge by Dina’s Days.

• Blue Zip Up Hoodie – I’ve been having good luck finding hoodies lately in fun colors so now I want to add this one to my lil’ collection!

• Binder – I’ve got some big girl projects coming up that require a binder (!!). They’re pretty simple to thrift and you can usually get them for much less than at a traditional retailer.

My New Year Thrifting Wishlist

I don’t set New Year resolutions anymore but I will continue my tradition of creating a monthly thrifting wishlist. Here’s what’s on it for the upcoming month!

• Pink Pom-Pom Hat – It wouldn’t be Winter in Wisconsin if I didn’t have some cold weather gear on my list, amirite?

• Shoe Rack Organizer – My current shoe rack situation is pretty bogus and falls apart if I even look at it wrong. Time for an upgrade!

• Chocolate Brown Flats – And to go on that shoe rack… dark brown flats. Maybe I shouldn’t describe them as chocolate? Sounds yucky. But that’s the best way I can define the color I’m looking for!

I’m making my thrifting wishlist and checking it twice! I’m going to make sure I don’t miss any must-have items in the month of December.

• Mini silver Christmas tree – I’m not big on decorating for holidays but I want a little something to add to my ’80s-inspired space. I think a mini silver or white tree would be supreme!

• Nsync “Home For Christmas” CD – Another holiday thing?? Only because I need this ultimate Christmas album in my life. (But we can all agree that Mariah Carey has the best Christmas song of all time!)

• White Winter gloves – While I have an amazing selection of Winter coats, my cold weather accessories are in rough shape. Hoping to thrift some cute extras to wear all season long!
