Where better to get fall outfit inspiration from than from fall itself? Mother Nature is quite a fashion plate, afterall.
Similar to my last outfit post, I was once again inspired by nature and my outfit really reflects that. Why fix what ain’t broke?
Cool temps just beg for a sweater dress and consuming copious amounts of hot beverages while reading books.. or style blogs in my case. (Just came across Stone Fox Style and I’m obsessed! Also obsessed with these.)
This camel colored sweater dress was part of my all-time favorite outfit posts from last autumn so I guess I was trying to make lightning strike twice. I’d like to that I made that happen with this look. 😉
The dress, burgundy tights, and vintage scarf came together really easily but I was stumped for footwear. I started my day in flats but quickly changed when I found these brown, knee-high boots buried in the back of my closet. You’d think that size 11 shoes wouldn’t be so easy to lose but you’d be wrong!
I know my blog doesn’t put a lot of focus on shoes and I’d really like to change that. Us bigfoots have to stick together, amirite? My boots are actually a 12 wide and came from a local outlet store. I found a similar pair selling on zappos.com for just over $100 and up to size 12 with many widths to choose from. (not an affiliate link, just being helpful)
I’d say this outfit was a success, as was the thrifting I did while wearing it.
Be sure to follow me on Bloglovin’ so you’re the first to know when I post another thrift haul video with my finds at the end of the month. You’re not going to want to miss it!

Oh, you look like a very stylish bank robber there. “Take all the money but, you have to tell me where you got that scarf.”

I totally covet this sweater dress! I am all about them, except I am feeling like I need to get some … foundation garments because sometimes there are lumps.
