This is the late but great outfit post I promised you featuring a rainbow sweater I borrowed from Le Tote. (You can read my full review of Le Tote here.)
It sure is the thing to brighten up your blog feed on a Monday, amirite? Here’s how I actually pulled it off on a different weekday!
First, I am very thankful for indecisive weather so I can still get away with wearing a coat, if only for part of the day. I know this outfit could easily stand on it’s own if I wasn’t wearing the coat so that’s a win-win!
Underneath the coat are really comfy black jeggings and some studded pink flats. I wanted to be as colorful as possible so I also added this red clutch in the shape of lips and a swipe of Colourpop Lippie Stix in Heart On – which is my current obsession.
Lastly were adding these ice-cream cone earrings that I also borrowed from Le Tote. They are basically me in jewelry form.
While I did take it overboard with the colors and patterns, you could easily adapt this outfit with head-to-toe black and just a colorful sweater making the statement. Sometimes you have to take those baby steps with your closet in order to build up to more elaborate outfits. That’s ok!
