Making a Casual Hoodie Look Chic

In a continual pursuit to make lounge clothes acceptable for public wear, I frantically searched for this hoodie in my pile of clothes, even though it’s something I wear regularly on the weekend with leggings and should have been out in the open. My sister gave me a questioning look when I said I wanted to wear it out and about. “Are you gonna pair it with sweatpants? That’s not like you at all.” It’s not so I didn’t. I wanted to to wear it with a dress!

Wearing a hoodie was probably the best decision of the day. It added the perfect extra layer to chase away the chills. (Of course, a jacket helped too.) Second best decision of my day? Adding a Duran Duran pin to my boot laces. 😉
