Thrifting is like a rollercoaster. There’s highs, there’s lows, and there’s a lot of strange kids screaming behind you. If this has never happened to you while you’re thrifting, you might be doing it wrong.
This post is for all the serious thrifters out there and what we go through for the thrill of the hunt.
From waking up early on a sale day to scoring an item at half price, here’s a humorous look at the many emotions you might recognize from your thrifting trip:
When the thrift store has a sale day…
The frustration of trying to plan a route for a big thrifting trip…
When you get to the thrift store and it’s closed…
Seeing a thrift store that looks ratchid on the outside but is great on the inside…
When someone totes a crying kid around the store…
Having to stand in a long line at the register/dressing room..
Discovering something unmentionable in a dressing room…
Finding your holy grail item..
Spotting the perfect item misplaced in the wrong section of the store..
Finding out your item is on sale…
When someone acts rudely towards you in a store…
Having someone follow you through the whole store…
When the store closes before you had a chance to finish shopping…
The feeling of satisfaction after bringing home an epic thrift haul…

These were spot on, Hannah!
I was recently in the thrift and saw a shirt with a cool pattern. I stopped to take a deep breath before checking the size, then preceded to do an internal victory dance.
HA! Love this post! I totally relate to EVERY SINGLE ONE lol. The other day I was going to yank my hair out…listened to a child scream for 2 hours straight….STAAAHHHHHPPPPP!
