Fall Trends I’m Excited About
Between NYFW and starting my new job at Maurices, it’s safe to say I have the itch to start trying out some of falls biggest fashion trends. Here are 3 that I’m looking to most and how I’ve worn them in the past!

Animal Print
I’m wild for leopard print but am willing to explore some other cool creatures this season like zebra or tiger.
Considering this trend isn’t for everyone, try adding it to your outfits in small doses like with your accessories. Wear an animal print belt to accent an LBD, or even tie a small silk scarf to your purse handle.
Monochromatic Dressing
Dressing in one color sounds boring in theory but is actually really interesting and can take a lot of creativity to pull off just right!
It’s up to you to decide how matchy-matchy you want to go. A simple top and bottom might suffice or you can go all out dressing monochromatic from head (a hat & lipstick) to toe (shoes)!
The 1980s
Do I even need to explain why I’m excited for this trend? I’ve always been a big fan of the ’80s (as documented on this blog) and have been stoked by it’s arrival in mainstream fashion this year.
Don’t get stuck thinking you have to wear shoulder pads with everything. You have an entire decade to choose from! Try dressing up your leggings (you probably already have a bunch of pairs for lounging, right?) or incorporate a vintage band tee into your closet.

There are so many trends I could highlight but fall is the kind of season that goes by so quickly that I probably won’t have time for them all! Which one are you most looking forward to wearing this season? Let me know in the comments!
